Your teachers cannot emphasize enough the importanceof citing your sources and setting up your papers in the correct format. If you learn how to do this now, your college years will be a much easier. Remember M[odern] L[anguage] A[ssociation] is just one way to cite sources but it is the only citation guide used at FTHS. If you need further assistance, each teacher on campus has a copy of the MLA Guide. Your English teachers can help you during FIRE if you are still confused after consulting the book. Be careful with referencing other sites and using citation machines as many of these sites contain errors or outdated information. Any new information will be updated as it is released from MLA.
