VISCOM: MULTIMEDIA BASICS

Welcome students and visitors!

Welcome to the beginning multimedia class  (Viscom 1A) at Foothill Technology High School taught by Mr. Richard Geib. This one semester class introduces students to modern computer multimedia: the fundamentals of preparing and shooting digital video, as well as various forms of pre- and post-production editing.  The class will focus on use of digital video hardware, as well as the software applications Adobe Photoshop 5.5, Adobe After Effects 5.0, and Adobe Premier 6.0.  Students will also learn how to shoot video and download files from video digital cameras.

Below you will find the class syllabus, scope and sequence, and assignments.  Feel free to look around or e-mail me with further questions.
