REPORT TEMPLATE
Please establish the following guidelines
while compiling and presenting information on your final report. Be
sure to use complete sentences and thoughts in your writing, do not simply
state a reply to what is being asked.
Please include the headings
and subheadings in your actual report, as outlined. Each paragraph
should be 5-9 sentences in length. Grammar and quality of writing
count in your grade. NOTE: Double space your report and have
the names of the members of your group in the header on each page!
I. Your vehicle
a. What
make/model of vehicle did you purchase.
1. Describe the features and options on your vehicle.
2. How many miles does the vehicle have.
3. What kind of (physical) condition is the vehicle in.
b. Where did
you purchase your vehicle.
1. How did you find out about the vehicle.
c. What price
did you pay for your vehicle.
II. Finance Expert
a. Who is
providing financing for your vehicle.
b. What are
the terms of your finance agreement.
1. What are the monthly payments.
2. What is the length of the financing contract.
3. What interest rate did you obtain.
c. Why did
you chose this finance company over another.
III. Insurance
Expert
a. What
insurance company did you obtain a policy from.
b. What are
the payment terms.
c. What is
the annual insurance premium.
d. What kind
of coverage do you have on the vehicle.
1. Include limits of liability.
2. Do you have any special coverage for towing or rental
car.
3. Did you receive a good student discount.
e. Why did
you chose this insurance company over another.
IV. Local Law Expert
a.
How did you contact your state agency.
b.
What does it cost to register your vehicle (to get license plates).
c.
Were you responsible for providing any other documentation to the State in
order to register the vehicle.
1. Was a smog check required.
2. Does the state require proof of insurance prior to
registration.
d. If
you obtained information from another state, other than the one you live
in, be sure to make note of that fact and include which state you used.
e. The Local Law Expert may have to contact the local DMV by phone
or in person in order to receive all information needed.
V. Experience
Write an overall evaluation of your
experience with this project. Include input from all experts.
Be sure to give suggestions and critiques of the sites that were
available to you, as well as any resources you located on your own.
Also rate how you think this experience will benefit you as a future
consumer.
