Assignment:  When I get older....
Brief Description: You must pick a career, find an income, buy a car and house, and then figure out a working budget.  You must figure out and graph ALL calculations on an Excel spreadsheet file.  Personal Budget Project.

Students will learn to:

• PowerPoint 2000 features
• MS Word 2000 features
• Learn to do Internet research
• Learn about used-car purchasing
• Learn how to construct a spreadsheet with MS Excel 2000 and use various formulas.
• Understanding auto and home, lending rates, principal, down payments, calculating monthly payments, etc.
• Understand how much education various careers require and how much one can expect to earn.
• Appreciate the miscellaneous costs besides car and house payments adult living brings with it.
• Construct a working budget that accommodates all costs and balances them against expenses.
•  Think creatively and critically
