Assignment: Yearly Newsletter.
Brief Description: You are going to create a MS Word file
chronicling what has happened to you during 2002 and what you have planned
for 2003. The file should be designed to send to friends and
family.
Your file should have the following:
- A
title, in a text box. Example here.
- The
date underneath the text box.
- Two
articles, one using
columns and
the other with a text
box.
Each article must use a different font and/or different background
color. Examples here and here.
You need to make it easy for the reader to differentiate one article
from the other.
- Your
text should be no larger than size 11 font. Your title, of
course, can be larger.
- Two
pictures, one of which is not off the Internet but scanned from a
personal picture.
- Two
quotes, at least, in both your articles on academic and personal life.
- Each
picture must have a caption. Examples here

- Put
one sentence from one of your articles in a text box to make it stand
out. Example here and here.
- Correct
grammar and graceful language.
- A
layout appealing to the eye.
- Multiple
fonts.

You must
