ROMEO/JULIET LOVE LETTER/POEM

In this assignment, you must assume the character of Juliet Capulet or Romeo Montague and write a love letter or poem to your beloved immediately after the balcony scene in Act II, Scene II of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet."  Describe what is going on in your mind and heart.

If a poem, it should be around two stanzas and one page in length; on the other hand, a love letter should be approximately 400-500 words. You will be graded on the quality, creativity, and passion of the writing.  Bring your work to class and be prepared to share the best parts of your prose with your peers.
