Upon the Big Black Box
A
girl watches, waits,
Her intent eyes fixated,
Upon the big black box.
waiting with the utmost patience,
But losing it ever so slightly.
Finally her waiting has benefited her.
Excitement rushes through her frail body.
Soft screams escape her mouth,
As she sees a half-naked bimbo,
Dancing to heartless music.
This young girl,
Her mind corrupted by media,
Shown what is "cool" and "uncool",
Based on the ideas,
Of fat businessmen with cuban cigars.
And yet their portrayal of "cool",
Is seen as gold,
In the eyes of millions,
Who live and breathe everything,
Upon the big black box.
