Party members Winston Smith and Julia (last name unknown) were
caught in the act of sexual intercourse on multiple occasions without permission
from the Party for doing so. They are not married and have no relation to each
other. They had no right to be taking part in such defiant, hateful acts. The
acts committed, directly violate section 45.09634 of The Code of Ethics
Concerning Party Members written by Big Brother himself. The act of sex
involving love between two Party members takes away from the love of Big
Brother; hence, it cannot be tolerated.
Winston
and Julia were found outside the city of London on a Sunday afternoon by
themselves. The only time that Party members should be outside of London is when
they are going on recreational hikes with other devoted Big Brother loyalists to
promote the cause of the Party and Big Brother. These two were doing nothing of
the sort. Their voices were recorded in hidden microphones talking of how they
despised Big Brother and how they were so glad that they could finally share
their feelings with somebody else. This was another deliberate act violated. No
Party member should ever have any feelings of emotion whatsoever unless it is of
love and devotion to Big Brother. They have shown feelings of hatred towards Big
Brother, and they have shown feelings of love and lust for each other. These are
incredibly horrible acts deserving of sever punishment. Call the Ministry
of Love and tell them to get ready. We have a sick patient that requires
their attention. There is a serious lack of self-discipline here, an
inability to control thoughts and emotions as should a loyal Party member.
Perhaps even here we see the work of Goldstein himself.
To
sum it up: Winston Smith and Julia are charged on counts of sexual
intercourse without permission from the Party, feelings of hatred towards Big
Brother, and feelings of love and lust towards one another. Each one of these
violations is condemnable by death, but let me suggest otherwise. For one whole
year, Winston and Julia will be tied to chairs all day in absolute darkness
except during the two minutes hate in which they will be put on the stage still
tied to the chairs so that the people of the Party can verbally, physically,
mentally, and emotionally harass them as they see fit. During this period, they
will be fed one cold piece of bread, and one warm cup of water every day. After
this one year is over, they will be tortured in the Ministry of Love for six
months with the most up to date systems of torture. Next, Winston and Julia will
be sent to the front lines of the wars that are going on overseas for six
months. If they do not die during this period of time in combat, Winston and
Julia will be put back into the world that they hate so much with different
names and locations, but the same recollections of life so that they can live
the rest of their pathetic, worthless lives knowing that they were the scum of
the earth and being mentally tortured by it the whole time.
