Brave New World
You will be expected
to read each of the following assignments on the READING
SCHEDULE at home during the next unit. If you are absent, you
will be required to come prepared on the day of your return!
BRAVE NEW WORLD WIKIPOETRY
Choose ONE of the following options:
1) Write several Haiku (3 line poem with alternating lines of
5 syllables, seven syllables and five syllables) about the characters,
world, conflict or the motifs. Must have a minimum
of 3 Haiku. POST
TO THE WIKI ON MY PAGE.
2) Write ONE free verse poem about anything that directly relates
to the novel. Must include references to the text. Minimum of
15
lines
3) Limericks about the novel (2 limericks)
Regular Rhyming Poem: minimum of 10 lines. Limerick:
There was a mean clown in the circus.
For fun he would push us and jerk us.
He would hit us with pies
That left cream in our eyes.
His act never once failed to irk us.
