While it's true that I have a rubber chicken collection, the rest of me isn't nearly so exotic.  I graduated from La Reina High School a long, long, long time ago--well before any of you were born.  I earned my B.A. in English from U.C. Santa Barbara and my teaching credential from California Lutheran University.  I have been married for 17 years to Mike Kindred who races his 1972 Monte Carlo on the weekends.  We have three children.  In my spare time I read, garden, and when the muse strikes, I write poetry.  This year I plan to take better care of my health!  See, the rubber chickens were more interesting, weren't they?
