A SPECIAL MOMENT POEM

ASSIGNMENT #2
You are to write a poem describing a
special moment in your life.
Use as much imagery in the poem as you can!
- Pick an incident in your past
which has emotional meaning for you.
For example, write about a trip to a foreign country or somewhere else
interesting, your Bar/Bat Mitzvah, a fight with a friend, or visit
to Disneyland. etc.
- ]You
can also choose to write a spontaneous poem about as you watch the
sun rise or set. You
can write a poem about any kind of moment in your life that you
would like.
- ]Make
sure to use plenty of imagery in your poem.
Underline the instances of imagery in your poem on the
rough draft version.
- ]You
have ten minutes to silently brain-storm on a fresh piece of paper
on the topic you want to write about in this poem.
