DIGITAL VIDEO PRE- and POST-PRODUCTION PROCESS

"Plan your work, and work your plan!"

  1. Brainstorm ideas for your movie.
  2. Explore and develop ideas with teacher and peers
  3. Research your idea; find your poem
  4. Create storyboard:
  5. Create a detailed shot list.
  6. Plan, plan, plan!
  7. Get video camera and shoot video.
  8. Present finished video to class.

NOTE:  Video should be approximately five minutes in length!  Make sure and tell the WHOLE STORY - many of the viewers will know NOTHING about you!  Start from the beginning and go from there.

ONE MORE NOTE:  Make sure you have plenty of light and that you speak clearly into the microphone!  Often people don't speak loudly enough in video and one cannot understand exactly what is said.
