Part 3:

50 points

(8 per section plus 10 for formatting)

Creating the Resume

  • Students use MS Word to format their resume
  • Include the 4 following sections:
    • Contact
    • Education
    • Skills
    • Personal Qualities (or Characteristics or Traits)
    • At least 1 of the below that apply to you:
      • Experience (past jobs with basic duties described)
      • Community Involvement (church or youth groups, volunteering at events, etc.)
      • Achievements (awards, GPA, honor roll, special honors, honors classes)

Evaluation

  • Skim your resume for formatting errors
  • Review your own work for spelling errors, etc.
    • Do NOT print until these reviews have taken place
  • Save as .doc and post as a "media link" to the WIKI as directed
  • Points will be awarded for the following:
    • Impressively complete content
    • Flawless spelling, capitalization, grammar and language usage
    • Clear and organized layout
    • Obvious effort in completing this assignment to the best of your abilities and within the guidelines provided above
